What does settlement mean?
Settling means you can stay in the UK without any time restrictions.
Who can apply for the settlement?
- Tier 1 (Entrepreneur) visa holders living in the UK for 5 years or 3 years if you’ve created enough jobs or income
- Tier 1 (Investor) visa holders living in the UK for 2, 3 or 5 years’ ‘continuous residence’ with enough assets and investments
- Tier 2 (General) visa holders living in the UK for 5 years and spent no more than 180 days outside the UK in any 12 months
- Tier 2 (Intra-Company Transfer) visa holders living in the UK for 5 years and spent no more than 180 days outside the UK in any 12 months
- Spouse & Family visa
